Human Rights Award Winner: Pachamama's President Raúl Del Águila

Congratulations to Raúl del Águila, co-founder of Pachamama Coffee Cooperative. International Honoree Raúl del Águila is a Peruvian Fair Trade pioneer distinguished for his work as a founder and general manager of one of the oldest Fair Trade cooperatives in Latin America, COCLA (Agrarian Coffee Cooperative), representing 8,500 small-scale producers.

Raúl has dedicated his life to working in the areas of agricultural diversity and sustainability, education and healthcare. He is president of CLAC, the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Small Fair Trade Producers, representing 200,000 families, or more than 1,000,000 people. He is also one of only two board members from the Americas of FLO, the Fairtrade Labeling Organization International.
